Promotions Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all promotions offered by Barefoot Kids Online. By participating in any promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Eligibility: Unless otherwise stated, our promotions are open to New Zealand residents only, who are 18 years of age or older, and who meet the specific eligibility requirements of the promotion. We reserve the right to exclude any entrant from participating at our sole discretion.

  2. Promotion Period: The promotion period will be clearly stated for each promotion. All entries must be received during the promotion period to be eligible to win. Entries received after a specified closing date will not be accepted.

  3. How to Enter: To enter a promotion, follow the instructions provided for each promotion. Entry methods may include commenting on our social media, completing a form, making a purchase, or submitting a review. Entries that do not meet the specific requirements of the promotion will be disqualified.

  4. Prizes: The prizes offered in each promotion will be clearly stated for each promotion. Prizes are not redeemable for cash, transferable to any other person, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, or promotion. If a prize or part of a prize becomes unavailable (for any reason), we reserve the right to limit entry, cancel or amend the prizes at its own and sole discretion, including providing the winner with a substitute prize, either in full or in part.

  5. Winner Selection: The winners will be selected at random or by a panel of judges appointed by us. We reserve the right to refuse to award a prize to an entrant who is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, gained an unfair advantage in participating or won by using fraudulent means. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

  6. Notification of Winners: The winners will be notified by email or announced on our social media within 14 days of the end of the promotion period. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of the first attempt to contact them, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

  7. Claiming the Prize: The winners must claim their prize within 14 days of being notified. Failure to claim the prize within this time frame may result in the prize being forfeited and awarded to an alternative winner.

  8. General Terms: We reserve the right to amend, withdraw, or terminate a promotion at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to disqualify any entry that breaches these terms and conditions or is suspected of fraud. 

  9. Privacy: Personal information collected during the promotion will be used in accordance with our privacy policy. By entering a promotion, you consent to our use of your personal information as set out in our privacy policy. All information provided by the entrants will be collected, used, stored, disclosed and corrected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. You have the right to access your information and request for any personal information to be corrected. You also consent to receive email communications from us. 

  10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.

  11. Exclusions: Barefoot Kids Online will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs (for instance incurred in accepting or redeeming a prize) or any injury whatsoever suffered by an entrant as a result of or in connection with the promotions, including any inability to enter, complete or continue the giveaway due to equipment or technical malfunction.
